I never thought of myself as a 'truck drivin' mama', but maybe that's because I've never regularly driven a truck!
I've driven plenty of SUV's which are kind of like trucks but, I had the opportunity to drive a Nissan Frontier for a week and I loved it!
The Frontier is not considered a full-sized truck, but it's not some mini-pickup either. I guess you could say it's a mid-sized pick-up truck. Anyway, I really enjoyed driving it for several reasons: it didn't drive like a truck, but was really easy to handle, was really comfortable inside and had very convenient cup holders (that's a big deal for me, since I am in my vehicle so much, I use those babies!)
In true Colorado fashion, I took the Frontier up into the mountains over the weekend and it handled great in all the snow we've had. The truck that I drove was a crew cab, meaning that is has a back seat, that my dogs thoroughly enjoyed.
The truck bed had a bed extender, in case your cargo is a bit long, and there are lots of tie down rungs, etc. back there as well.
The Nissan Frontier is a sturdy, easy to handle and comfortable pick-up truck. I give it two thumbs up! Just be prepared for all of your friends wanting you to haul stuff for them!
