If you immediately think of the original body design of the old GS, then hold on. The folks at Lexus decided to give it a whole new 'do, and the word here is...EXCELLENT! Here's why...
For one thing, the car might be just a fraction larger now than the older models, but the styling has changed, and that actually makes the car look smaller (to me, anyway). But that doesn't mean this puppy won't run. Lexus souped up the GS a few years ago, and now the V8 animal is happiest when it's galloping. No worries here about power.
But let's talk about the look. This new GS430 is the sleekest by far, with a gentler slope on the front, and a redesigned butt, too. Inside, it's all Lexus, my friend. Luxury, yes. Comfort, of course. But you also get a very user-friendly control panel (you don't need an engineering degree to figure things out), with standard heated perforated leather for your tush and well-lit instrument readings on the dash.
Okay, a side note that might seem silly to you, but I have to share. This car has the funky push-button starter. Just slide into the front seat, put your foot on the brake, and push the button. No key, no hassle. To shut it off, just push the button. I got so used to it in a week that I practically pouted when I went back to my own car. Sure, it's not a huge thing, but you'll be amazed at how quickly it becomes comfortable. Just think about going back to manually changing channels on your tv, eh?
Plenty more info, of course, and you can check it all out at http://www.lexus.com/. If you couldn't tell, I loved it.
